The most common treatments for depression today involve the use of antidepressants.

Antidepressants have their rightful place in the treatment for depression, BUT users can develop and addiction and the antidepressant side effects are known to be very uncomfortable.

This conventional depression treatment alleviates the condition but it doesn’t guarantee a cure for it.

Also, the suicide rate for depressed people has had a shocking increase in recent years, especially among children and teenagers. The World Health Organization (WHO) said that the number of depressed people is doubling every ten years and that by the year 2020 it will be the second leading cause of death.

If depression medications are the answer to depression, why is it escalating at such high rate? It is escalating at such rate because we have been missing the point.

A truly successful treatment for depression and anxiety must address YOU AS A WHOLE. A real cure for depression and anxiety can never come from treating the symptoms alone.
